Bosnian Americans will never forget President Carter’s visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1994, during the aggression on our homeland, when he courageously worked to help bring peace to a war-torn nation. His steadfast commitment to truth and reconciliation remains a powerful reminder of the enduring values necessary in the fight for justice for the victims of the Bosnian Genocide and all those who have suffered injustice worldwide.
