In the heart of our nations’ shared commitment to freedom and security, the power of partnerships between the US Army and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina under the State Partnership Program stands resolute. This partnership exemplifies dedication to mutual understanding, collaboration, and capacity building.
During Deliberate Response ’24, held from April 1-7, 2024, at Warren Grove Range, NJ, the Maryland Air National Guard’s A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft and Maryland Army National Guard joint fires observers, alongside the New York Air National Guard and Marine Corps Reserve, participated in training Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina JTACs. This combined close air support integration exercise aimed to enhance individual and collective readiness and support allied interoperability.
Units underwent training on joint fires observation using close air support integration, all while facilitating international liaison, coordination, and joint fires interoperability with key allies in a joint and combined environment. This effort was synchronized to support exercise objectives for the U.S. EUCOM Immediate Response exercise series.
The Maryland Bosnia and Herzegovina Exchange Council leverages the talents and resources of the Bosnian and Herzegovinan-American community in the USA to support actions contributing to advancing shared goals of security, prosperity, and cooperation. We are committed to enhancing the effectiveness of joint civil-civil and military-civil initiatives, strengthening people-to-people ties in our two homelands under the State Partnership Program.
