Maryland Proclaims March 1st as Bosnian-American Day: A Historic Recognition by Governor Wes Moore

The State of Maryland Proclamation, issued by Governor Wes Moore, honors the historic significance of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s declaration of independence on March 1, 1992, and highlights the strong and lasting partnership between Maryland and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Recognizing the invaluable contributions of Bosnian Americans and the deep ties between our communities, Governor Moore has officially designated March 1st as Bosnian-American Day in Maryland.
